The conference will begin with a keynote presentation by Yoon Keon-soo, Chairman of the Korea Venture Capital Association, followed by IR presentations from 14 regenerative medicine companies and Q&A and advisory sessions involving approximately 55 domestic investment firms.
A number of strategic investors are also expected to participate to assess investment trends in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors for the second half of the year and explore potential business partnerships.
A total of 16 companies will participate in the IR presentations and one-on-one consultation sessions: NeurolMed, Maru Therapeutics, MarkHelz, B-Element, StemExOne, Acrocell Bioscience, Xcell Therapeutics, Youth Bio Global, InstemCare, ILIAS Biologics, GeneMedicine, CLIPS BnC, PAIAN Biotechnology, Pentamedix, Primoris Therapeutics, and HaplScience.
CARM said, “We hope the event will help revive weakened investment sentiment in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors through collaboration with relevant organizations and investment firms, while providing small and venture companies with an opportunity to take the next step in their growth.”
CARM holds the Open Innovation Investment Conference to promote Korea’s advanced regenerative biotechnology industry and support promising companies in attracting investment.
This year’s conference will be co-hosted with the Korea Regenerative Medicine Fund (KFRM), which oversees the government’s regenerative medicine R&D program, and supported by the Korea Venture Capital Association, Korea Investment Partners, and Daily Partners.
