Mechanism of Action

When peptides are treated on cells, the intracellular calcium (Ca²⁺) concentration instantaneously increases. This activates the calcium-mediated enzyme Calpain, causing the cell membrane to protrude outward and leading to the massive secretion of exosomes (microvesicles) through the 'Outward Budding' mechanism.
